The Art of Caricature with Jason Seiler

After I did a third caricature of a colleague of mine (which I'll post soon) I was confident enough to do Jason Seiler's (who's is, I think, one of the best - if not the best - caricaturist in the world) caricature masterclass. This was something that I wanted to do for almost 2 years now, but I lacked the confidence. Mainly because I haven't been drawing for a very long time and I didn't believe that I could draw good enough for this class. I thought I would be the worst student in the class. But I now I had the courage to enroll and it turns out that I'm doing pretty OK. As a matter of fact I surprised myself. The images below are the results of four lessons:

Something fishy

A few weeks ago I went to Burger's Zoo in Arnhem where they have this beautiful giant aquarium. I took a few pictures, but because it was very dark and I couldn't use a flashlight I had to set the camera on 'manual'. As I'm not an expert photographer all my photo's were too dark or too blurry. So there was one option left:
